About the Network

The North Carolina Writers' Network serves writers at every stage of development through programs that offer ample opportunities for professional growth in skills and insight. The Network builds audiences for literature, advocates for the literary arts and for literacy, and provides information and support services.

The Network's Mission

The Network's mission is to connect, promote, and lead the writing community from beginners to published professionals.

Location

The Network is located seven miles west of Chapel Hill, and 16 miles east of Burlington, on NC Highway 54, in the Old White Cross School. The street address is 3501 Highway 54 West.

Hours

For the public, the office hours are

• open Mon-Thurs, from 10 am to 4 pm
• closed for legal holidays and inclement weather
