Network West

The North Carolina Writers' Network West (Netwest) is a chapter of the North Carolina Writers' Network. Members of the Network automatically become members of Netwest if they live in Clay, Cherokee, Graham, Macon, Swain, Jackson, Transylvania, Haywood, and Henderson Counties in North Carolina, as well as bordering counties in South Carolina, North Georgia, and East Tennessee.

Approximately ninety writers in these areas participate in the numerous Netwest events. Netwest offers support and encouragement through critique groups, classes, workshops, readings, and other programs. The Program Coordinator keeps members abreast of literary events through e-mail, the Netwest Facebook page, and the Netwest blog (www.netwestwriters.blogspot.com) where the work of excellent writers, poets, and playwrights are posted along with photos and bios, announcements for writers, articles on writing, and literary events in the Western NC region.
