Hats Off! to Sandra Ervin Adams, who served as host to a middle school student for his Job Shadow project in the AVID class on January 16, 2013. The AVID class is a college preparatory course designed for middle school and high school students who are planning to attend a four-year college/university.

Hats Off! to Erika Hoffman, whose piece, initially called “Colossal Giant,” has had a name change and a status change. It was a finalist; now it is definitely in Not Your Mother’s Book …on Travel and has been rechristened “Rhodes Scholar.” |
