Char Solomon, author of the biography Tatiana Proskouriakoff: Interpreting the
Ancient Maya, has been selected to become a speaker with the North Carolina
Humanities Council Road Scholars program. Her topic, "An Introduction to the Ancient
Maya", will be included in the January 2010 Speakers Bureau listing.
