Eric Martin will host a casual social hour (or three hours, to be exact!) as part of Durham’s Third Fridays. Stop by amidst the art walk to join us for food and drinks, a lit mag swap, or just to chat. In February, the Hinge Literary Center presents Open Wall. Open Wall is an ever-changing installation of one-page pieces of literature written by local artists/writers. Anyone can bring a piece to contribute, or if you can’t make it to the event, but still want to participate, you can respond to this newsletter with an attached piece. Poems/stories/essays will be displayed behind frames for everyone to read and enjoy. This month’s theme: The Ides of March (interpret how you want!). Sponsored by the Hinge Literary Center.

Location: 305 E. Chapel Hill St. – Ste. 215 (Durham)

Hats Off! to Heather Bell Adams of Raleigh. Her story "Butler Road" won the Fifth Photogene Contest sponsored by Sundog Lit.
