LifeVerse, a Greensboro Public Library initiative for older adults, is seeking volunteers to visit nursing homes, retirement centers, and other sites with programs for older adults, to use poetry as a catalyst for discussions. Volunteers, after training, lead discussions and guide writing activities to help older adults capture memories through poetry and verse. Contact the library for information on trainings and volunteer placements. |
