This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Showcase, Poets House’s free, annual exhibition of new poetry books, chapbooks, broadsides, and multimedia titles. Opening on Saturday, June 30, 2012, this year’s Showcase will be on view throughout the month of July and will include all of the year's new poetry and poetry-related books, chapbooks and multimedia titles published in the United States. More than 2,400 titles were in last year’s exhibition, representing close to 650 US publishers—commercial, university, independent, small and micro-presses.
