Tamra Wilson will read from and sign her new story collection, Dining with Robert Redford & Other Stories, as part of Moveable Feast. Wilson was a fellow at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and won the Jesse Stuart Prize for Young Adult Fiction in 2009.
Location: High Country Book Festival, Meadowbrook Inn, 711 U.S. 321 Business (Blowing Rock)

Hats Off! to Mark Smith-Soto, whose poetry collection Splices won an Honorable Mention in the annual chapbook contest sponsored by Finishing Line Press. Finishing Line will bring the book out in February of next year, but is accepting prepublication orders from now until the end of November.
