"Marketing Your Book in Today’s World." Come join us for a panel presentation on how to market your book. Whether it’s self-published or traditionally published, today’s author must take on the demanding job of getting his/her book into the hands of readers. Our three presenters (Sheila Webster Boneham, Henry Tonn, and Michael Maccalupo) are currently at work marketing their recently published books. Here is an opportunity to get your questions about the world of marketing and publicity answered by fellow writers who are “living” it. A North Carolina Writers' Network event.

Location: Pomegranate Bookstore, 4418 Park Ave. (Wilmington)

Hat's Off!

Hats Off! to Jan B. Parker, who won Second Place (Prose) in the Pamlico Writers Competition sponsored by the Beaufort County Arts Council. The reception, conference, and awards ceremony were all lovely and highly professional events in a beautiful venue in Washington, NC, Jan's childhood home. Her winning entry included the first chapter of her current novel-in-progress, working title: EmLee.
