We want to extend a special invitation for word aficionados across our region to attend an upcoming presentation by author Jennifer Pharr Davis, a National Geographic 2012 Adventurer of the Year, who has hiked more than 11,000 miles on six continents and broke the overall speed record for hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2011. This is a rare opportunity to hear Davis, who is the author of Becoming Odyssa, a book that details Davis’ first hike on the Appalachian Trail in 2004.
