December’s First Friday at CAM - An unforgettable hour with creative monsters in your midst – work MIXTAPE into your evening! You simply must spend a stimulating hour of performance and presentation with three Triangle-based artists at MIXTAPE, organized by independent arts writer Chris Vitiello in conjunction with the ongoing exhibition "GirlTalk: Women and Text." Just for you: Stacy Lynn Waddell creates an impromptu installation with projections and text; Christy Smith of the Tender Fruit sings a set to break your heart; Heather Gordon shows and discusses text, sound and codes in her painted work.
