Irene Menendez Reading Print
Saturday, February 09 2013, 11:00am - 1:00pm by  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Irene Menendez will read from her new children's book Macaroni Ponytail. The book was inspired by a true story when the author's grandchildren, Emily and Speight, visited during the summer of 2012. Their mother Jennifer challenged the author to potty train Emily while she was visiting. The challenge turned out to be both fun and successful, with all of the family collaborating as the amazing experience developed. The author wants to share this experience with others in the hopes that it will spark imaginations everywhere so children can be potty trained in a fun and fanciful way.

Location: Pomegranate Books, 4418 Park Ave. (Wilmington)
