In 2013, our day includes readings by Howard Owen, author of ten novels, including the widely acclaimed Littlejohn and Oregon Hill. The Symposium features separate publishing panels with authors as well as editors Stephen Corey from the Georgia Review, Margaret Bauer from the North Carolina Literary Review, and M. Scott Douglass from Main Street Rag. Need to learn how to promote your work? This year the Symposium presents a workshop on how to create an online presence using social media with Lucinda Blumfield, President of Lucinda Literary, a New York City firm whose services include online marketing and social medial consulting; publicity and events; website design and development; and literary representation.

Hat's Off!

Hats Off! to Carol Roan, whose short story "The Street-Walker" is to be published in the inaugural issue of South Florida Arts Journal this spring.
