Once again, The Fountainhead Bookstore is hosting the popular Bookapalooza gathering. "I get asked 'What is Bookapalooza' a lot," said owner Valerie Welbourn. "I think the biggest part of it is book lovers and readers making connections." There are literary games, social scavenger hunts, authors, refreshments, publisher give-aways, ideas for book clubs, and surprises. The publishing house, Penguin Group, is one of the bigger sponsors of Bookapalooza this year. Space is limited, so advance purchase of tickets is encouraged. |
