Network West serves Clay, Cherokee, Graham, Macon, Swain, Jackson, Transylvania, Haywood, and Henderson Counties in North Carolina, as well as bordering counties in South Carolina, North Georgia and East Tennessee. NCWN members in these areas are invited to participate in the numerous NetWest events. Asheville author and writing teacher Peggy Tabor Millin has won the 2010 Next Generation Indie Book Award in the spirituality category for her nonfiction book, Women, Writing, and Soul-Making: Creativity and the Sacred Feminine. The Independent Book Publishing Professionals Group (IBPPG) announced the awards in New York City on May 21. |
