Hats Off! to Linda Heuring, who won the Fish Short Story Prize for 2012 for her short story, "Roommates." The story will be featured in the 2012 Fish Anthology, which will be launched at the West Cork Literary Festival in Bantry in July. She will be reading from the story at the Festival. The judge, David Mitchell (Cloud Atlas, The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet) called it "a classy, satisfying, memorable piece of work." Fish Publishing announced the award on St. Patrick's Day in Bantry, County Cork, Ireland.
