Hats Off! to Brenda Kay Ledford, whose three poems won the 2012 "Fields of the Earth Poetry Contest" sponsored by Writers' Ink Guild. "Fishing," received first place in the nature category, "Progress," got third place in the nature category, and "The Messenger," won third place in the inspirational/religion section.
