Writing Your Family's History

- Meets at the Dye Club at Landfall in Wilmington
- $80 Network members / $100 non-members
- Workshop cost includes box lunch
In this workshop you will learn how to
- Interview your own friends or family.
- Conduct basic family research.
- Choose between different versions of the same event.
- Choose the best "voice" to use when writing what you have collected.
- Decide where to start in writing down your own memories.
- Decide what to include and what to leave out.
- Write about events and respect the feelings of people who are still alive.
- Organize family memorabilia to find the stories hidden among them.
