The momentous life of Pulitzer Prize winner William Styron is now chronicled in more than 1,000 of his letters compiled by his widow, Rose Styron. Join Rose Styron and her co-editor R. Blakeslee Gilpin for a public conversation about the book, which contains some of Styron’s most memorable meditations on the craft of writing. Styron’s papers are held at Duke. Copies of the book will be available for sale at the event. Free and open to the public. |
