We have established two critique groups with the intent to help improve our individual writing, and help others to do the same by sharing our expertise and providing thoughtful critiques. Both groups will be small, 5-6 members, so that all the members can critique and be critiqued at each meeting. Membership is restricted to writers in Chatham and Lee counties; members will email work to be critiqued to the other members one week in advance; profanity is accepted “within limits”, with members reserving the right to refuse to critique any work they find personally offensive. Space is presently available in both groups. Interested writers are encouraged to attend a meeting to observe the proceedings. Please contact the facilitator by email in advance so she will know to expect you.
