LHOF Inductees on UNC-TV
For those of you who couldn’t make it to the NC Literary Hall of Fame induction ceremony last month, the 2008 inductees will be featured on UNC-TV’s North Carolina Now, starting tonight.
The schedule is as follows:
Friday, 11/21: William Powell
Monday, 11/24: Lee Smith
Tuesday, 11/25: Jim Applewhite

Last night I returned to North Carolina from a much-needed long weekend, and I’m back at my desk this morning.

Hall of Fame Induction This Sunday
Don’t forget that the 2008 Induction Ceremony for the NC Literary Hall of Fame will be this Sunday, October 19, at 2 p.m., at the Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities in Southern Pines. The ceremony is free and open to the public.

Hat's Off!
| . . .whose new book Family Bible, (University of Iowa Press) was just released this month. Poets & Writers Magazine is running an interview with her in the upcoming May/June issue in their "Firsts" feature. The Durham newspaper is running a review on April 20. |
