Time to Apply for Writing Residencies?

The Wildacres residency program is accepting applications, preferably before January 15th.

Here is a description of their program from their website:

“The Wildacres Residency Program began in 1999 and over the past ten years has hosted approximately 240 writers, artists, and musicians. Without exception, the participants found the setting conducive to their work and had a great “Wildacres experience.” The program continues in 2009, with 25 one-week residencies available from May through October. The program allows individuals the solitude and inspiration needed to begin or continue work on a project in their particular field. Participants stay in a comfortable, rustic cabin located 1/4 mile from the top of the retreat. They may use the Wildacres facilities and eat in the dining room or prepare their own meals in the cabin kitchen. There is no charge to the participants. ”

I entered the Rose Post Nonfiction Competition in November and included an SASE. According to the website, the winners are announced in January. I would like to know the competition results and would be grateful if you would forward the winners list.

    Many thanks,
