Reynolds Price, one of our state’s finest writers and human beings, has passed away.
Many of you knew Mr. Price very well, and are mourning the passing not just of a literary hero, but of a friend. I only met him once, but he was one of the few men I’ve ever known who was immediately recognizable as a gentleman.
