Steven Pressfield Follows the Money

Many of us became writers hoping to avoid math, and none of us need to feel sorry for E.L. James.

Having said that, novelist Steven Pressfield makes a persuasive argument (with the math to back it up) about how much money E. L. James lost when she sold her Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy to Random House.

If nothing else, Pressfield’s article is another reminder how e-books are changing the writing biz.
