How to Submit: Publishing in Lit Mags and a Community Submit-a-thon | Virtual

Join (NCWN member) Stephanie Trott and Erin Vachon on Sat, Jan 28 from 1-3pm for How to Submit, an afternoon of all things submissions! We’ll begin with a how-to talk on finding places to send your work, writing a cover letter, and keeping track of your submissions, then move to an hour-long submit-a-thon where you can put your new skills to work or spend some time making a list of journals you’d like to try in the future. Held both in person and online, open to writers of all ages and experiences (especially those new to literary submissions).

About the Facilitators

Stephanie Trott is a writer and editor based near New Bedford, Massachusetts. She most recently served as editor in chief of Longleaf Review and has been on the masthead in various roles at EcotonePloughsharesOyster River Pages, and elsewhere. An alum of the Tin House Summer workshop, Erin earned their MA in English Literature and Comparative Literature from the University of Rhode Island.
