As Kafka said, “A non-writing writer is a monster courting insanity.” Don’t go mad; join this online Charlotte Lit class! You’ve got an idea, and the vision of holding your own book in your hands has been a dream since childhood—so why is it so hard? In this two-session class (two Thursday evenings), Kim Wright will show you how to structure your day like a writer and why rituals matter more than willpower. We will discuss ways to break the mammoth task of completing a manuscript into manageable pieces. In week one (Jan. 11) we’ll discuss strategy, and then you’ll have a week to try out those strategies. In week two (Jan. 18), we’ll troubleshoot issues that arose and help you map out a plan to finally make true headway on that lifelong ambition. Both sessions will be recorded, if you can only attend one week.
