Winston-Salem Writers will sponsor a Zoom workshop “The Structure of a Mystery: Upping the Stakes in Any Novel” on January 28. This third workshop of the Winston-Salem Writers’ January Three-In-A-Row series will be conducted by Edwin Hill who has been nominated for Edgar and Agatha Awards, featured in Us Magazine, received starred reviews in Publishers Weekly, Booklist, and Library Journal, and was recognized as one of “Six Crime Writers to Watch” in Mystery Scene magazine. In this hands-on writing workshop, we will investigate the structure of a mystery novel as a means to increase the tension and the momentum in any novel. The cost is free for WSW members or $25 for non-members. To register AND pay for workshops, go to www.wswriters.org/workshops-and-seminars.
