Hats Off! to Katie Winkler whose flash piece “Pilgrimage” has been published in the Bethlehem Writers Roundtable, the literary magazine of the Bethlehem Writers’ Group.

Hats Off! to Joan Leotta who received a Pushcart Nomination from Active Muse for her short story. Her micro-fiction "Magic Slippers" was included in Best of 2021 by Haunted Waters Press, and her poem "Dragonfly" won the Award of Commendation by Operelle (Poem). Another poem was selected to be published on a poster by Poetry in Plain Sight. She won Third Place in a Third Wednesday Writing Contest and was selected several times as one of winners for the bi-monthly Ekphrastic Review contest; selected as one of poets for Visual Verse; twice published in Verse Virtual; and had work accepted in BeZine, When Women Write. She was a grant recipient selected by Brunswick County Arts Council for a project to increase poetry writing and story performance in the County. Also, she performed on Radio in Italy and on Zoom as invited guest by ASST and was a featured reader for NC Poetry Society during the summer.
