Hats Off! to Sandra Fischer whose story “Driving a Lesson Home” was selected to appear in the 2021 Personal Story Publishing Project anthology Luck & Opportunity. Sandra’s story recalls the challenge of her father teaching her to drive their manual transmission Chevy in the 1950s and other lessons gleaned from that experience. The PSPP contest is sponsored by Randell Jones of Daniel Boone’s Footsteps, Winston-Salem.

Hats Off! to Ken Wetherington whose short story "Breaking News" appears in Remington Review.

Hats Off! to Heather Bell Adams whose novel The Good Luck Stone (Haywire Books, 2020) was favorably reviewed in Southern Literary Review. "The Good Luck Stone is a story filled with the history of the war in the Pacific theater, a history less often told than that of the European theater," says reviewer Donna Meredith. "A story of excruciating loss and noble sacrifice. A story of the guilt survivors often bury deep within their hearts. A story well worth reading."
