For The Best Men’s & Women’s Monologues 2021

  • Monologues must be from plays. They cannot be stand-alone pieces.
  • They must be from plays produced between January 2019-September 2021.
  • Staged Readings performed live or virtually during the Pandemic will be accepted.
  • Monologues should be from 1-3 minutes long.
  • Monologues should be active! No stories about something that happened in the past—(those types of pieces are not good for auditions!)
  • Please include a descriptive blurb containing a brief summary of the play; the name/age of character; to whom the character is speaking and the dramatic context of the scene.

For The Best 10-Minute Plays 2021

  • Plays must be produced between January 2019-September 2021
  • Staged Readings performed live or virtually during the Pandemic will be accepted.
  • Plays should not exceed 10 pages.
  • Please include a brief synopsis.
  • No Radio Plays. No musicals
