Quarto Publishing Group is seeking an Associate Acquisitions Editor to join our creative publishing team. The ideal candidate will identify emerging marketable trends and potential authors in the illustrated-nonfiction space to create book concepts and write proposals based on these findings for a minimum of 8 projects per year for our various imprints. They will champion their projects through all phases of the publishing process and will be expected to work collaboratively with the editorial, design, production, sales, and marketing teams.
This role is primarily working closely with the editorial director to develop proposals for acquisitions for the Rock Point and Wellfleet list and will involve occasionally working on all imprints based with the New York Team.
