Bookmarks seeks a full-time Community Outreach & Engagement Director. This position will report to the Executive Director and is responsible for advancing the mission of Bookmarks in the Winston-Salem and Forsyth County community. The Director is crucial in achieving the Bookmarks vision of “creating a community of belonging and connection through the power of books.” They will work with the Executive Director to fully incorporate the mission in every department of Bookmarks by acting as lead strategist for community organizing and engagement.
The Director will act as the main point of contact for community partners, identifying and leading coordinated activities that will engage those partners in meaningful and intentional ways. The Director will assist with aspects of marketing and communication, as well as with events and programs that occur outside of Bookmarks’ facilities. The Director is crucial in supporting the strategic plan as it relates to service of the greater community.
This is a full-time, exempt salaried position expected to work 40 hours per week with an annual salary of $60,000.
