Hub City Press: Bookshop Manager (Updated Deadline: August 1)

The Hub City Writers Project seeks a Bookshop Manager for its award-winning Hub City Bookshop. This is a wonderful opportunity to play a central role in the operations of this downtown community nonprofit bookstore, which has twice been named one of the “South’s Best Bookstores” by Southern Living magazine and was named Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance “Bookstore of the Year” in 2019. 

This is a salaried 35 hour per week position. Hours are generally Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm with an hour lunch, but will include evening or weekend shifts for coverage or events. Benefits include 9 paid holidays, 12 days annual PTO (additional leave accrues with years of service), healthcare stipend, and 401k matching program. Salary begins at $43,000 and is commensurate with experience.
