The North Carolina Poetry Society sponsors a variety of awards for adult poets, published annually in Pinesong. Submissions for the 2024 Pinesong Awards are open through January 10, 2024.
Entries in each category must be original, unpublished (either in print or online), and in English. Winners receive publication in the 2024 edition of Pinesong and a cash prize.
The North Carolina Poetry Society was founded in 1932 as an all-volunteer organization for poets and friends of poetry.
