Publishers Weekly, the international news platform of the book publishing industry, is looking for experienced remote freelance book reviewers for both traditionally published and self-published works in the following subject areas.
Please note that during the Covid-19 pandemic, most reviews are done using e-galleys, however, some physical galleys may be sent.
PW pays $25 per review.
If you are interested in reviewing for PW, please send a resume and a sample review (approximately 200 words) of a recently published book to reviewers@publishersweekly.com. (Please look at published PW reviews for editorial formatting examples. Previously written reviews not following the guidelines will not be accepted) Use the email subject heading “Book Reviewing:” followed by the categories you are interested in. For example, “Book Reviewing: Music, Romance.” Applications submitted any other way or missing materials will not be considered. Members of diverse communities are highly encouraged to apply.
