Submit up to three previously unpublished pieces. Each piece must be 500 words or fewer. Any genre is acceptable as long as the work is written in prose. Judge: Kirstin Valdez Quade, author of The Five Wounds, which won the Center for Fiction’s First Novel Prize, and the short story collection, Night at the Fiestas, which won the John Leonard Prize from the National Book Critics Circle.
