The Redbud Writing Project is an adult education creative writing school based in Raleigh, North Carolina. We’re running our second annual fiction contest, called the Coppice Prize, from March 1 through March 31, 2023.
Arshia Simkin and Emily Cataneo, Redbud’s cofounders, will select ten finalists, and writers Makenna Goodman, Alison B. Hart, and Beth Morgan will select three winners as well as an honorable mention. The first-place winner receives $500, the second-place winner $200, and the third-place winner $100.
All three winners will be published in an anthology and will receive a free copy of the anthology as well.
