The Porch Prize (Deadline: March 4)

Established in 2019 and open to published and unpublished writers over the age of 18, The Porch Prize honors fresh voices and excellent writing.

The manuscript entered must be the author’s original work and be unpublished and uncontracted at the time of deadline and unpublished during the contest judging time itself. The manuscript must not exceed a word count of 3,000.

The judges for the 2024 Porch Prize are:
• Fiction: Jamie Quatro
• Poetry: Ananda Lima
• Creative Nonfiction: Matthew Vollmer

One winner in each catagory will be awarded a cash prize and Porch gift certificate, and all finalists will be acknowledged at the Porch’s annual fundraiser. Winning entries are also published in SWING, The Porch’s biannual literary print journal.
