Position SummaryThe Storytelling Specialist is responsible for researching, writing, editing, and proofing the stories that define the University of North Carolina Asheville. This position will effectively and efficiently tell the stories of UNC Asheville as part of an easily understood narrative.The Storyteller will find, shape, and create feature articles, profiles, and other content for various platforms, including print and digital publications, web, social media, multimedia, and in-person events. This position will develop stories in a collaborative setting, drawing on anecdotes and data to tell stories that both exemplify the University’s brand trajectory and strategic direction and are crafted with key audiences in mind. The person in this position will need to develop and maintain productive, strategic relationships with campus clients, including faculty, staff, and administrators. Additionally, this position will serve in a consultant role for campus colleagues in positions that are writing and editing related.
