Day-of registration will not be available for the 2023 Spring Conference.

Registrant Directory

We invite you to share your name and email address in a Registrant Directory of 2023 Spring Conference attendees. This directory will include first and last names and email addresses for all registrants who choose to be included and will be shared with those registrants after the conference.

Joining the Registrant Directory is not required, and the Network will not share the directory with those who do not choose to join.

Conference Classes

Master Class is an alternative for Session I and Session II classes. For details, please read the Submission Guidelines on the Master Class page of our website.

Even if you plan to apply for a Master Class, you must choose the Session I and Session II classes you would like to attend if you are not accepted into the Master Class.

Master Class registration is closed. All classes are full.

Lunch with an Author

(meets 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm)
As an option, sign up to have lunch with a small group of fellow registrants and one of our conference instructors. This year registrants have the option of signing up for Lunch with an Author, but bringing their own lunch. We recommend this option for those with food allergies or dietary restrictions.

IMPORTANT: You MUST register for Lunch with an Author prior to the conference. Lunch with an Author registration will NOT be available on-site.

E-Packet

In an effort to save money, time, and resources, the Network will send to all 2023 Spring Conference registrants, exhibitors, and faculty an E-Packet prior to April 22. The E-Packet will contain all the usual conference packet materials, in the form of a PDF that registrants can print or download to bring with them to the conference.

Name tags, personalized schedules, and copies of the Schedule-at-a-Glance will still be available at the registration table the day of the conference.

Traditional printed packets will not be available at this conference.

Refunds and Cancellations

Cancellations must be made in writing and arrive at the Network office (via USPS or e-mail) by 4:00 pm, Thursday, April 13, for you to receive a refund, less 25%. Send request to ed@ncwriters.org.

No refunds for cancellations received after April 13 or for no-shows.

For Writers with Special Needs
The North Carolina Writers' Network strives to make our programs and services accessible to all writers, including those with special needs. If you require conference materials either in large print or in Braille, or if you require a sign-language interpreter, please register for the conference and submit your request to mail@ncwriters.org no later than Monday, April 10. If you require any other special assistance, please let us know as soon as possible at mail@ncwriters.org. We will do our best to accommodate all reasonable requests.
