From Margaret Bauer and our other friends at the North Carolina Literary Review:
“The 2010 issue of the North Carolina Literary Review is due from the printer in late July. Look for your copies to come soon thereafter, and mark your calendar: if you’re going to be in the Asheville area on the weekend of August 14, please join us at Malaprop’s Bookstore, 7-9 pm, for a publication party to celebrate this issue, featuring North Carolina Appalachian Literature. If you can join us for this event, please let me know you are coming. We are still working out the evening’s program, and there may be room for more readings from the issue. I’ll also let Malaprop’s know in case you have books they can stock up on.
The NCLR staff will be at several literary events this summer and fall, and we hope to see lots of you as we make our rounds. For a complete listing of where we’ll be, where you can join us in celebrating the publication of the 2010 issue, please go to:
http://www.nclr.ecu.edu/news/events.html
And let us know if you will be at any of these events.
In the meantime, please share the 2010 issue press release with your local media. You will find the press release and a high resolution cover image at:

We are proud of this issue, and you should be too. Help us to spread the word!
– Margaret”
