The North Carolina Writers’ Network 2019 Fall Conference kicks-off tomorrow, and we’ve been all over the news.
If you’re already registered, then you can keep getting excited, because you’re part of something big!
If you haven’t pre-registered, don’t worry, you can register on-site starting at 3:00 pm on Friday, November 8, at the Doubletree by Hilton Asheville-Biltmore.
Here’s a round-up:
- The Literary Latte Podcast featured NCWN Executive Director Ed Southern
- Mountain Xpress featured poetry instructor Eric Tran, who led a session on ekphrasis
- The Charlotte Readers’ Podcast gave us a mid-roll plug
- NCWN’s Henderson County co-Regional Rep Meagan Lucas was on Asheville 103.3 FM’s Wordplay talking about the conference and her new novel
- Book Nerds Daily highlighted our conference exhibitors
- The North Carolina Arts Council featured us on their blog
- Carolina Coast Online, Mountain xPress, the Salisbury Post, and The Southern Literary Review highlighted our programs throughout the fall
Writing organizations and indie bookstores across North Carolina also have been instrumental in spreading the word, from Charlotte Lit to Malaprop’s to Quail Ridge Books to the Winston-Salem Writers.
You know what they call that? That’s momentum!
See you in Asheville.
