Gidget and Tommy Vickers, the owners of 219 Elm, held a grand opening this summer, for their four-store-operation community marketplace.
One of these shops to open its doors is Shane and Lee Books, a place to sell and buy books with an emphasis on local NC authors.
“We wanted to create a place for the community to come together and strive in. Lumberton has a lot of art and a lot of talented artists,” Gidget Vickers said in an article for The Robesonian
The shop is open Monday-Saturday. It closes at 2 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday. But hours extend to 5 p.m. on the other days. They are located at 219 North Elm St.
