New Asheville-Based Series Mashes Poetry and Music

Poet and 2011 Fall Conference faculty member Keith Flynn—who, with his band The Holy Men, had attendees dancing in the aisles at last year’s Saturday night banquet—has kicked off a new Asheville-based poetry series called “Live at White Rock Hall.” This merger of poetry, music, and film features authors and musicians in collaboration, setting music to literature, with interviews and special features. It brings together “world-class authors and musicians to create a collaboration that would exist no other way.”
