. . . although, unlike Willie, I could, in fact, wait to get on the road again.
The good news is that this week will be my last spent on the road promoting my new book, Voices of the American Revolution in the Carolinas. Come next week, the Network will again have my full, undivided attention and time (well, at least 40 hours – give or take a few – of my undivided time).
The better news is that I’ve been honored and thrilled by how well my tour has gone. I’d particularly like to thank the Network members who came to my reading at Quail Ridge Books on February 19: Jim Clark, Charles Heatherly, Jan Parker, Linda Rohrbaugh, and Maureen Sherbondy (if I’ve forgotten anyone, I apologize).
While I’m on the road, here’s some reading material from Roy Blount, Jr., who’s a lot funnier than me, anyway.
