I went this afternoon to the Network’s post office box, where I saw the driver of a red Corvette pulled over for speeding on Town Run Lane.
For those of you not familiar with downtown Winston-Salem, Town Run Lane is a short little avenue that runs behind the courthouse, so it’s always crowded with police cars and sheriff’s cruisers.
Only slight less foolish than speeding down Town Run Lane would be not registering for the Network’s 2011 Fall Conference.
Aside from being taught by outstanding instructors, and listening to distinguished speakers like him and her, and participating in stimulating workshops, and taking advantage of new features like Marketing Mart, or old favorites like Manuscript Mart, and visiting Asheville in the fall, and enjoying the chance to connect with writers from all across the state and beyond, you ought to come to this year’s Fall Conference because . . .
Actually, that pretty well sums up why you should come to the Fall Conference.
Register before November 11 to receive a discounted rate, and book your room at the conference hotel before our room block fills up.
We look forward to seeing you in Asheville, November 18 – 20.
