Asheville poet and longtime friend of the Network Keith Flynn has launched a new, live performance series: LIVE at White Rock Hall.

Live at White Rock Hall pairs world-class poets, authors, and songwriters with award-winning musicians to create a collaboration that would exist no other way.

Guests so far in Season 1 include Ron Rash, William Pitt Root, Patricia Smith, Minton Sparks, Quincy Troupe, and Eliot Wadopian.

Subscriptions also include access to interviews with the writers.

Music fans and readers everywhere can subscribe to the series for the low-low price of $1.99, which grants access to all the online videos!

Longtime fans of Flynn’s will recall the 2014 YouTube series, LIVE at White Rock Hall. The current series takes that idea to the next level, and realizes an artistic project that has been an ambition of Flynn’s for over a decade.

You can read more about it in our 2014 post:

In 2007, Denise Petrey and her husband, Keith Flynn, purchased the White Rock Presbyterian Church. Built in 1909, the church needed to be moved from the flood plain where it had sat for almost a century. Two years later, a “large truck” and two bulldozers moved the church down the road, the church was re-christened White Rock Hall, and the restoration process began.

Keith will lead a workshop at White Rock on March 13-15. There will be ample workshop sessions; entertainment; and cocktails. There will be plenty of prompts, plus time to write and get responses from Flynn and the group. Focus will come from the text of The Rhythm Method, Razzmatazz, and Memory: How To Make Your Poetry Swing.
