The staff and board of the North Carolina Writers’ Network invite you to visit their updated and redesigned website, ncwriters.org.
This update—less a redesign than a full-blown renovation—is the culmination of the Network’s ReCover Campaign, begun in the spring of 2021.
“The new ncwriters.org is more colorful, more vivid, and more user-friendly,” NCWN Executive Director Ed Southern said. “Network members who visit often, as well as those visiting the site for the first time, should find it easier and more pleasant to navigate.”
Custom made by the design firm Web Solutions, the renovated ncwriters.org has almost all the same pages and content as before, but in a more intuitive and eye-catching architecture. Book Buzz and Hats Off features, highlighting the literary accomplishments of NCWN members, feature more prominently on the home page.
Network members also will be able to create their own passwords for logging into the new site’s members-only pages.
“We feel like we finally have a website as vibrant and vital as the Network,” Southern said. “We’re excited, and once again, we’re very grateful to all the donors who responded to our ReCover Campaign and made this excitement possible.”
We expect glitches, but we’re sure that our members will understand, and that we’ll get them all sorted out soon.
