How to Use Submittable

Submittable (https://manager.submittable.com/signup) is a third-party platform that writers use to submit poetry, short stories, and essays to many established journals, anthologies, and literary contests.

Network Members submitting to our contests through Submittable must create their own Submittable account. Being logged into the Network’s website will not log you into Submittable. Submittable is not associated with the North Carolina Writers’ Network, and our membership database is not linked to Submittable.

The Network’s contest submission forms have tabs for NON-MEMBERS and for MEMBERS. Please be mindful of which tab you select as submission fees differ depending on membership. Submittable doesn’t know who is a Network member and who isn’t, so if you make a mistake, you’ll need to be in touch with us directly at mail@ncwriters.org.

Once you are signed in to Submittable, take a look around: you’ll discover a wide world of submission opportunities. You can learn more about using Submittable here: https://submittable.help/en/articles/904856-how-can-i-submit

Contact us at mail@ncwriters.org if you have any additional questions.
